How it all started
By 2003, we had been involved with ministry to the indigenous people in both West and East Malaysia for 20 years. It started in 1993 with a group of Orang Asli Christians in Pahang. Subsequently, God led us to Sabah where we served in various ministries which were related mainly to the indigenous people. Through all these years of ministry, we came to love the indigenous people and saw that they faced many challenges both spiritually and physically.
What motivates us
After pastoring Maranatha Church, an independent Kadazandusun church situated in the Penampang district of Sabah for 10 years, the Lord laid it on our hearts to start a ministry specially to help strengthen the indigenous church in Malaysia by encouraging, equipping and empowering the indigenous pastors and leaders. That was how and why Cornerstone Resources Berhad was birthed forth in 2004.
